We are excited to announce that we have found the future home of the "Weight, WHAT?" Food Addictions Center. Although we cannot release all the details just yet, we will approximately 45-days before the Grand Opening.
Until then, let us share a little bit about what the facility will do, be and change in the lives of those dealing with obesity and their family and friends. The facility will be almost 30,000 square feet. One-third of the facility will be the home of "Weight, WHAT? Food Addictions center. It will serve inpatient and outpatient food addiction services, private workout facilities and in-ground pool with specialized health trainers; classrooms, individual and group support programs, full service kitchens and Chefs, private and shared residential areas and behavioral pods for in-depth therapies and services for mental health. There will be 4-7 day stays, as well as 30, 60, 90 day residential programs. In addiction, we will have 'day programs' for those not able to leave their daily life for intensive treatment and 12-Week Boot Camp programs [1 evening per week] classes for those that may not need intensive care.
The second third of the facility will be leased office spaces and rooms for professionals who specialize in obesity treatment and addictions. They will serve as our clinical team for additional ancillary staff and long term follow up care.
The final third of our facility will house the non-profit Obesity Recover Foundation that specializes in cutting edge obesity research for the individual and family of surgical and non-surgical weight management programs. The scientists, volunteers and members are dedicated to impacting the pandemic of obesity growth and provide tools and education for communities, schools, organizations, policy makers and insurance companies. In addition there are eleven (11) ballrooms, meeting rooms and spaces for hosting up to 3,000 people for conventions, summits, CEU training, meetings, personal events such as weddings, receptions and family celebrations.
