Our non-profit foundation is a division of Weight, WHAT? Food Addictions Center. We hold a 501(c)(3) status.
Our goal is to cure obesity and to be a pioneer in ensuring this addiction is recognized by all medical and mental health professionals, insurance companies and policy makers as well as be a recognized educational provider for the general public.
Our team conducts scientifically based studies for a variety of issues for bariatric and non-surgical patients battling food addiction, obesity and relapse
Our research is used to gather government support to make changes and improvements in health care for clients suffering with obesity
Our goal is to impact insurance coverage for non-surgical weight loss and behavioral services for those not seeking bariatric surgery.
Through public speaking, community rallies, information pieces and classroom training we work with those enduring obesity and obesity related issues along with their families and support systems.
Our support is based on the 8-Tenets developed by Weight, WHAT? Food Addiction Center for those in varying stages of their weight loss and maintenance programs.
Our research, educational sources and training programs service national audiences at conventions, CE workshops, fitness arenas, and medical - mental health collaborations
WE have many events throughout the year to raise money for adult and adolescent research studies but there is much more to do. Consider giving if you or someone you know has suffered the impact of obesity and obesity related diseases. It is tax deductible and can change lives.
